Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely advice pertaining to ASX listed equities
  • Grow the client base in line with Petra Capital targets
  • Host ASX listed company “Virtual” roadshows with institutions
  • When possible, accompany ASX listed companies on roadshows through Australia
  • Meet targets relating to activity levels and revenue

Qualifications, Experience and Key Attributes

  • You will have at least five years’ experience servicing institutional investors
  • Tertiary qualifications in the relevant field are desirable

Whilst not necessary, experience relating to origination and M&A may be useful.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and professional Senior Executive Assistant to join our Industrial Research Division.

Supporting the Industrials team, including the Head of Industrials Research, you will be providing a broad range of support requirements whilst working as part of a broader cohesive team, where initiative and teamwork are paramount.

You’ll be dependable and self-motivated, demonstrating ability to work in a high-pressure environment with competing deadlines and priorities, with great attention to detail. Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite is a must, as well as with CRM systems and publishing software.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive administrative support to the Industrials Division (and where required, other divisions), including but not limited to the:
    • publication and distribution of research;
    • preparation of presentations, reports, publications, schedules, templates, spreadsheets and models;
    • organization of travel;
    • organisation of events (staff and client);
    • management of CRM databases;
    • management of IT and IT support; and
    • setting up new staff members administratively.
  • General executive administrative support to the Head of Industrials Research.
  • Undertake client facing functions as and when required including but not limited to:
    • email introductions for prospective research products; and
    • follow up for prospective research products.
  • Work closely with the administrative team to ensure the overall smooth running of facilities and equipment at the office.

Academic Qualifications: 

  • Associate degree in a relevant field – not essential.
  • Relevant certification/technical qualification – not essential.
